Sprite abilities — FAQ

Does a Sprite’s finish (Gold, Cheatmaster) change its ability?

No — every finish of a Sprite shares the same ability; the finish is cosmetic. The Cheatmaster finish’s only perk is that you can button-mash the inputs on in-world Cheat Codes to activate them instantly, rather than following the arrow sequence.

How do Sprite abilities get stronger?

Abilities scale as you level a Sprite with Sprite XP (Mastery). Higher levels typically extend the effect — longer reveal durations, bigger boosts, or extra effects at max level.

Which Sprite has the best ability?

It depends on your playstyle, and it shifts with the meta — see our tier list for a strength ranking. Rarity is how hard a Sprite is to get; the ability is what it does once you have it.

What’s the best Sprite for rotating, healing or looting?

Use the “Best used for” column above — each Sprite is tagged by playstyle (rotations & repositioning, survival & clutch heals, fast looting & upgrades, aggressive fights, or scouting & map info) so you can pick one that fits how you play. For a raw strength ranking, see the tier list.

Abilities are from Epic’s notes and community testing; some newer Sprites are still being confirmed and are marked as such. Not affiliated with Epic Games.
